Sellswords & Spellslingers is a solo and cooperative fantasy miniatures game for 1–6 players, with games lasting about 120 minutes. Players create parties of fantasy adventurers, choose a scenario, and attempt to complete its mission.

Party creation uses a point system, giving each player a way to assemble their adventurers before the adventure begins. Once the scenario is selected, the group faces foes and events that are moved automatically by a deck of cards, supporting play without requiring another player to control the opposition.
