Sheep ‘n’ Sheep is a 2017 card game for 2–4 players that takes about 30 minutes to play. As shepherds, players arrange sheep cards in their own pastures while trying to satisfy the different grouping preferences of their fussy flock.

Each player builds a personal playing area by placing sheep cards into a pasture. Every card has a grouping condition that indicates how its sheep want to be arranged, and meeting these conditions earns victory points.

Cards of the same type that are connected orthogonally—above, below, to the left, or to the right—form a group. The central challenge is to create groups with the head counts that the sheep desire, balancing an attractive formation with the requirements shown on the cards.

Some sheep want to be alone, while others prefer to stand in pairs or in different-sized groups. This gives every placement a purpose as you work across your pasture, connecting matching sheep while aiming to fulfill their individual expectations.

The player who manages to arrange sheep in the prettiest and most rewarding formation wins the most victory points. With its focus on spatial arrangement, connected groups, and varied grouping conditions, Sheep ‘n’ Sheep offers a compact pasture-building puzzle for two to four shepherds.
