About this board game

Sherwood Bandits is a 2021 board game for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 40 minutes. Lead a young band of outlaws competing to join Robin Hood and his Merry Men by robbing gold from the Sheriff’s tax carts.

During each raid, you will roll and place dice, attempting to exceed the value of a cart. Gather more goods than rival bands, but watch their moves closely: other players can hinder your plans and claim the cart before you do.

The band that makes the final blow conquers the cart’s riches. If another band defeats it first, your group receives nothing, making timing and competition central to every raid.

• Roll and place dice to overcome the value of the Sheriff’s carts.
• Compete against rival bands racing to join the Merry Men.
• Use Robin Hood, Little John, and other Merry Men for useful powers.
• Earn extra points by completing sets of rings, necklaces, and bracelets.

Robin Hood, Little John, and the other Merry Men can assist your band during raids, granting different powers that may help you gain more riches or an advantage over your opponents. Choosing when to use these abilities can make a difference as the carts move through the game.

At the end of Sherwood Bandits, completed jewelry sets provide extra points alongside the riches you have stolen. Gather your band, challenge the other outlaws, and prove that your crew deserves a place among Robin Hood’s famous company.
