About this expansion
Shipwrights of the North Sea: The Townsfolk Expansion is a mini expansion for 2–5 players, with an 80-minute play time listed for the game. It expands the worker placement aspects of Shipwrights of the North Sea with a new central game board and five distinctive Townsfolk.
During their turn, players may place one Worker from their Village onto the new board. Each of the five Townsfolk provides a unique action, giving players additional options to consider while playing the base game.

The available actions include substituting Craftsman when constructing Ships and discarding cards for Gold. These additions focus directly on the expansion’s worker placement system while introducing new ways to use Workers during play.

All other rules of the base game remain unchanged. Shipwrights of the North Sea: The Townsfolk Expansion is therefore a compact addition centered on new worker placement choices, five new Townsfolk actions, and a revised number of Workers gained each Evening Phase.
