Sidereal Confluence: Bifurcation is a 2022 expansion for 4–9 players, designed for games lasting approximately 180 minutes. It introduces alternate versions of each of the nine original species, bringing new mechanisms, strategies, and avenues for negotiation to the table.

Each variant represents a different aspect or faction within its society, with examples ranging from Deep Unity to the Zeth-Charity Syndicate. These alternate species versions can be freely mixed with the original versions, allowing groups to shape a different experience from game to game.

There is one important restriction when building a game: both versions of the same species cannot be used together. This gives players flexibility while preserving a clear choice between each species’ original identity and its alternate interpretation.

Sidereal Confluence: Bifurcation features iconography and graphic design that match the Remastered Edition of Sidereal Confluence. Because so few components in the game are randomized, the expansion should also be usable with the original edition without too much difficulty.
