About this board game

Sinners is a game for 2–5 players that takes about 60 minutes, in which each player takes the role of a Preacher trying to collect 100 years’ worth of sinners’ souls for the Devil.

You have made a deal to live 100 years more, but fulfilling your end means gathering souls. Lure sinners into your church to “repent,” while making sure your Murderer remains there so you can collect the souls of the sinners.

At the beginning, you start with a Murderer in your church and summon one of nine Demons to choose from. You then begin luring sinners and using the distinctive powers of the game’s other characters and actions.

The game unfolds over a series of rounds. In each round, players draw fresh hands of cards and take turns playing cards until the round ends, followed by scoring.

Keep your plans moving, use the available powers, and build your soul total toward the winning goal. The first player to collect 100 or more souls wins. Released in 2019, Sinners was entered in the Two-Player PnP Game Design Contest and was named the contest’s 2nd Best Gateway Game.
