About this board game
Sixto is a 15-minute roll-and-mark game for 1-6 players, in which everyone uses colored dice to complete numbered rows while avoiding isolated marks.
Each player receives a sheet with six colored rows. Every row contains the numbers 1-6 in a random order, and the box includes twelve different sheet designs. On the active player’s turn, all six colored dice are rolled, with one die assigned to each row.
If the results are not appealing, the active player may reroll all six dice once. After the final roll, every player considers each die and may mark the leftmost available matching number in the corresponding row. Any numbers skipped along the way can never be marked later, so every choice matters.
- Roll six colored dice, with one die for each colored row.
- Optionally reroll all six dice once.
- Let every player mark from the leftmost available matching number.
- Pass the dice to the left and continue until the game ends.
The final three columns form each player’s target area. If a player marks two spaces in one row there, that die is removed at the end of the turn. When the third die is removed, the game ends.
Scoring rewards well-developed rows and columns but punishes a solitary mark. A row or column with one mark loses 5 points, while zero or two marks score 0; rows and columns with three or more marks score 5+ points. In Sixto, careful timing and selective marking are just as important as rolling useful results, and the highest total wins.
