About this board game

Smoke & Mirrors is a bluffing game for 2–5 players that takes about 15 minutes to play. As the greatest magicians in the world, players compete to perform bigger and better tricks while protecting the secrets behind their acts.

Each player receives three trick cards from three different decks. Using any amount of their cards, they must create a magic act with a trick value exactly one number higher than the act performed by the player to their left.

As the rounds continue, the required trick values rise and the magic acts become increasingly dangerous. Players must decide how much to reveal while trying to surpass the previous magician. Share too much, and your secrets may be exposed.

• Players: 2–5
• Playing time: Approximately 15 minutes
• Core challenge: Build a trick value one higher than the player to your left
• Key danger: Once your secrets are revealed, you are out

Smoke & Mirrors combines escalating magic acts with bluffing and elimination. Every play tests how far you can go with your limited tricks while keeping your secrets hidden from the other magicians.

The competition continues as players attempt to go bigger and better than the previous act. The winner is the last player standing.
