About this board game

Snack Rabbits is a card game for 2–4 players that plays in about 20 minutes. Collect vegetable cards, test your luck with dice, and aim to dominate one or two vegetable types for the highest score.

The deck contains seven types of vegetables, with each type represented by 6–12 cards. Every card also shows a die value from 2 to 6. During setup, fences marked 2 through 6 are laid out, colored dice are distributed to the players, and white dice begin in the center of the table.

On each turn, reveal the top card and place it beneath the fence matching its die value. Then decide whether to STOP or HOP:

  • STOP: Take a white die from the reserve.
  • HOP: Choose a fence, then roll your colored die and any number of white dice from your supply. If at least one die meets or exceeds the fence’s number, claim every vegetable card beneath it. Return the white dice you rolled to the reserve; if you fail, keep all the dice you rolled.

When Farmer Benno appears from the deck, no more cards are added to the fences. Continue playing until all revealed cards have been claimed, then score your collection. If you have the majority of a vegetable type, you score one point per card of that type’s full supply—for example, the majority of the 12 eggplant cards earns 12 points. Other players score one point per card they hold, and tied majorities are friendly.

With its simple choices and escalating risk, Snack Rabbits challenges you to judge when to gather another die and when to make your leap. The player with the most points wins.
