Snow Time

About this board game

Snow Time is a 40-minute competition for 3–5 players, in which children represent their villages in a playful joust around a marvelous tree. Combining racing elements, bluffing, and double guessing, the game challenges everyone to anticipate opponents’ choices.

Strange fruits appear randomly on different levels of the tree. To collect them, each player must decide which branch to climb, attempting to reach valuable fruit while predicting where rivals intend to go.

Competition becomes especially tense because a player can harvest fruit only when alone on a branch and when no opponent is lying in ambush directly above. A wrong prediction may turn a promising climb into a squabble, so every choice requires careful timing and a crafty reading of the other players.

• Choose branches while anticipating opponents’ moves.
• Collect randomly appearing fruits at different tree levels.
• Avoid snowballs, ambushes, and branch conflicts.
• Use bluffing and double guessing to outmaneuver the competition.

When players collide, the resulting brawl can cause cards to be lost unless one of the fighters dominates the fray. Yet fighting is not the only path to success: the cleverest player can score a point by avoiding the conflict and remaining the lowest in the tree.
