About this board game

Space Freaks is a 2017 board game for 2–4 players, with sessions lasting about 90 minutes. You manage a fighting team sponsored by a powerful megacorporation in the brutal Arena of Annihilation.

Build the perfect freak by combining different body parts, then lead your creations into battle. Every fighter can become a strange and dangerous combination, from chain tracks and a poison needle to tentacles carrying an antimatter flail.

The arena master changes the conditions of the arena each turn, forcing teams to adapt as the battle develops. Your sponsor can also support your plans with items, special actions, or even alien marauders.

• Assemble freaks one body part at a time.
• Construct turrets, bunkers, and droids to support your team.
• Complete tasks assigned by the viewers.
• Destroy competing freaks or an opposing base.
• Score points by controlling the center of the arena.

Victory can come from more than simply eliminating the opposition. Fulfill viewer tasks, kill rival freaks, destroy an enemy base, or seize control of the arena’s center to earn points during play.

With its shifting arena conditions, customizable fighters, and grotesque combinations of body parts, Space Freaks turns each battle into a chaotic show. And in this galaxy, everyone wins somehow: by managing the victorious team—or by becoming a body part of the next winning team.
