About this expansion

SpaceShipped: The Dynasty Seal is a solo board game for 1 player with an approximately 30-minute play time. It centers on the search for missing items belonging to the Emperox, as troops assemble to recover them.

The search offers different motivations. For some, the missing items represent an opportunity for profit; for others, they provide another reason to stay away from the Dynasty forces. The game presents this premise through a carefully selected set of cards drawn from the base game and any available expansion cards.

Before playing, set aside the base game’s Wealth, Starting Crew, Ship, and Equipment cards. Then sort the remaining cards into four groups:

• Crew: draw 3 cards
• Ships: draw 3 cards
• Equipment: draw 7 cards
• Enemy: draw 1 card

Shuffle each group before drawing. Together with the cards set aside at the beginning, these selections form the 18 cards used for the game. This setup gives each play session a randomly assembled card pool while preserving the required starting cards.

The dedicated components listed for this release include 5 multipurpose cards and 1 enemy card. SpaceShipped: The Dynasty Seal was released in April 2020 as part of the BoardGameGeek Board Game of the Month Club $10+ package, making it a compact addition for players interested in a focused, single-player search involving the Dynasty forces.
