About this board game
Frontline General: Spearpoint 1943 is a fast-playing World War II tactical card wargame for two players, with intense combat engagements lasting about 30 minutes.
Players command the Tip of the Spear, or Spearpoint, where squad-level infantry and individual tanks, artillery, and aircraft meet in frontline combat. Tactical Unit Cards, Command Cards, and Damage Cards create a focused battle experience at a brisk pace.
Choose between tense tactical Situation games and Standard games. A deck-building element and non-CCG deck construction provide unlimited replayability, while unit statistics based on years of research deliver historically plausible results in every battle.
- Fast-paced, two-player squad-level World War II card combat
- 50 German Unit Cards and 50 US Unit Cards
- 50 Command Cards and 25 Damage Cards
- Nine Situations, four dice, and a two-sided rules sheet
Released in 2010, Spearpoint 1943 offers a compact way to experience tactical frontline engagements without requiring a long play session. The standalone Eastern Front game adds Russian and German cards, along with new Command and Damage Cards, while the Village and Defensive Line Map Expansion adds terrain, line of sight, movement, and additional situations.
