About this board game

Splendor Kids is a chip-collecting board game for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 30 minutes. Take the role of a traveler delivering food across the kingdom, gather the resources you need, and race to reach the Palace of Splendor first.

On your turn, choose between two central actions: collect chips or move forward on the paths. Food chips are the key to progressing through the kingdom, so deciding when to gather supplies and when to spend them is at the heart of every journey.

• Take three different kinds of food chips.
• Take two chips of the same kind.
• Take one joker chip, which can be used as any food.

When you move forward, pay the price of the destination in chips and add it to your playing area. This makes each step a meaningful choice: collect the food required for your next move, or take the opportunity to advance along the route toward the palace.

Some places on the board provide food that you can use and then reactivate, while others let you play again. These locations add variety to the journey and can help you manage your resources as you travel across the kingdom.

The goal is clear and exciting: be the first player to reach the Palace of Splendor and earn the Queen’s Medal. With its accessible chip-collecting system, path-based movement, and race to the finish, Splendor Kids offers a focused competitive game for family play.
