About this board game

Spoils of War is a fast-paced bidding and wagering game for 3–5 players, with a play time of about 60 minutes. After a victorious Viking raid, players gather to divide a table piled high with valuable treasures.

Each round, the Vikings roll their dice, then bluff and bet to outwit their fellow players. The winners claim fantastic treasures, building their collections as the contest unfolds.

What begins as a gathering of strong allies quickly turns into a heated argument driven by greed. Fists pound the table, insults are made, and tempers rise as everyone fights to secure the most desirable spoils.

Twists and surprises keep the outcome uncertain from round to round. No one knows who will prevail until the last treasure is claimed and the spoils are counted.

Released in 2017, Spoils of War combines dice rolling, bluffing, betting, and treasure collecting in a lively Viking contest. Read the table, take calculated risks, and try to leave the chieftain’s tent with the richest collection.
