About this expansion

Geistertreppe: Flaschengeist is a 5–6 player expansion for the 15-minute ghostly race game Geistertreppe, designed for ages 4 and up.

Released in 2004, this expansion builds on Geistertreppe, winner of the Kinderspiel des Jahres in the same year. It adds the components needed to bring additional players into the game, making it suitable for groups of five or six.

The expansion also introduces a distinctive new element: the ghost bottle. This bottle can trap one ghost at a time, adding a new feature to the race while keeping the central ghostly theme intact.

To accommodate the larger player count and extend the journey, Geistertreppe: Flaschengeist includes a small add-on board. The additional board lengthens the race, giving the game a longer route for its expanded group of players.
