Spring Cleaning is a card game for 2–5 players, with a play time of approximately 45 minutes, in which players race to shed their household clutter.

Spring has arrived, and the neighborhood is ready to clear out its excess items. To make space, players must organize their houses by managing the cards in their hands—but there is an important restriction: players may not sort their hands.

Instead, players can offer some of their cards to the table. Opponents may draw offered cards or play them, giving everyone opportunities to reshape the structure of their hand. Choosing what to offer becomes a key part of the challenge, since changing the order and contents of your hand can make it better suited for playing cards.

• Play with 2–5 players.
• Offer cards that opponents may draw or play.
• Manage an unsorted hand to improve your ability to shed cards.
• Finish with as few cards as possible when a round ends.

The immediate goal is simple: get rid of all your cards first. Once one player empties their hand, the remaining players gain trash based on how many cards they still hold. This creates a continuing contest between clearing your own clutter and making careful decisions about which cards to offer.

Trash is scored over the course of the game, and the player with the lowest amount of trash wins after a certain total has been scored. With its unusual hand-management rule and interactive card offers, Spring Cleaning turns a familiar springtime task into a race to relax first in the warm weather.
