Star Realms: Starmarket Promo Card is a 2014 promotional addition for Star Realms, supporting 2–6 players with a listed play time of 20 minutes.

This release contains one Starmarket promotional card. It adds 1 Starmarket Trade Federation Base to the game, giving players a new base with a cost of 4 and a defense of 6.

The card’s ability rewards a turn in which a base has been played. Its effect includes the Starmarket base itself, so playing this card can satisfy its own condition. When that condition is met, the card states that you gain one of two benefits:

• Gain 5 authority.
• Gain 3 trade.

This creates a clear choice between authority and trade whenever the required base-play condition is fulfilled. The wording specifically includes this card, making the timing of its ability an important part of using the Starmarket Trade Federation Base.

The Starmarket promotional card was available by signing up for Meeple Monthly at Gen Con 2014. Its limited promotional origin gives it a distinct place among Star Realms additions while keeping its contents focused on a single card.

A version of Star Realms: Starmarket Promo Card with alternate artwork was later released in Star Realms: Promo Pack I. Whether encountered in its original promotional form or with the alternate art, the card adds the same Starmarket Trade Federation Base to the game.
