Stereo Mind

About this board game

Stereo Mind is a cooperative music appreciation game for 2–5 players, played in about 15 minutes. Everyone listens to the same song or sound and tries to choose the word that best matches what they hear.

Reveal the top card of the Card Deck and scan its QR code. On the resulting screen, press play to stream the recording. Each player listens closely, then secretly sets their dial to the number beside the word that best suits the music or sounds.

During this process, players must not discuss their choices or signal to one another. Once everyone is ready, all players count to three and reveal their dials at the same time. The team succeeds only when every dial shows the same number.

• Success: If all players select the same number, the team keeps the card and scores 1 point.
• Failure: If even one player reveals a different number, the team does not score for that turn.
• Team goal: Players can acquire up to 7 points together.

Keep playing until a turn ends with only one card left in the Cassette Tape Deck. When the game ends, count the team’s successful cards to determine the final score.
