Stockpile: Continuing Corruption

About this expansion

Stockpile: Continuing Corruption is an expansion for 2–5 players that adds four modular systems to the Stockpile stock market game, with play lasting about 75 minutes. Use the modules separately or combine them for a more strategic experience.

The Forecast Dice module brings changing conditions to every round. At the beginning of each round, roll six custom dice and select the appropriate forecast cards. Their results can cause the market to rise or fall, ensuring that no two games play out the same way.

With Bonds, players gain a safer investment option. Bond Cards can provide a steady stream of interest payments each round, but the original money spent on bonds cannot be recovered until the end of the game. Spending too much may mean missing valuable stockpiles elsewhere.

Commodities & Taxes add further tension to the stockpiles. Each round, Commodity or Tax Cards are added face-up. Collecting different types of commodities can lead to substantial end-game bonuses, while avoiding taxes becomes an important part of managing your position.

The More Investors module introduces six new investors from around the world. Each possesses a unique ability, opening up additional ways to win and expanding the strategic choices available throughout the game.

Released in 2016, Stockpile: Continuing Corruption gives the original game more variability, alternative investments, end-game objectives, and distinctive investor powers without requiring every module to be used at once.
