Stroganov: Turukhan

About this expansion

Stroganov: Turukhan is an expansion for 1–4 players that adds four modular experiences to Stroganov, with games lasting around 120 minutes. Combine the modules at will to create a fresh journey through the vast Siberian wilderness each time you play.

Cross the Turukhan River, establish new relationships with the local population, and pursue new ways to fulfil the Tzar’s wishes. Each module introduces a distinct feature that can add new decisions, goals, and opportunities to your game.

• Siberian Chipmunk: Collect a new type of fur tile. Although these rare furs initially appear to have no apparent value, a travelling merchant and collector can exchange them for valuable advantages.
• Hunting Plans: Hunt for specific furs and spend hunting marker steps to reduce the number of requested fur tiles on any Tzar’s Wish.
• New Landscapes: Discover Characters, which count as a wild type of landscape tile and provide permanent abilities once acquired. Sacred places form a fifth landscape type and can earn victory points at the end of the game when their conditions are met.
• Diplomacy Track: Trade with the locals by showing signs of good faith. The more generous you are, the greater the advantage you can gain over your competitors, making the timing of your actions important.

With its mix-and-match structure, Stroganov: Turukhan lets you tailor each session to the modules you want to explore. Add rare-fur exchanges, targeted hunting, lasting character abilities, sacred-place scoring, or diplomatic opportunities to shape a different Siberian adventure.
