About this board game

Stupefy! is a simultaneous-action game for 4–8 players that plays in about 30 minutes. Across eight identical rounds, players choose spells, point their wands at opponents, cast together, and resolve the effects.

Each player begins with a limited hand of spell cards, including Stupefy! cards and Misspell cards. Every round presents a quick tactical decision: protect yourself, attack another player, or try to claim the rewards in the center of the table.

• Choose a spell.
• Point your wand at any opponent at the same time as the other players.
• Cast your spell simultaneously, then resolve the effects.
• Unharmed players take rewards from the center and place them in their House’s box.

Misspells are part of the challenge, but your Stupefy! cards are limited, so you must manage them carefully. Watch your opponents’ choices and consider whether they have already used their Stupefy! cards before committing to your own move.

Being Stupefied has a cost: you become the latecomer of your House, take a penalty, and miss the opportunity to gain extra rewards. Staying unharmed, meanwhile, can help you collect potions, point cards, or rewards connected with becoming your professor’s favorite.

The pressure builds because decisions must be made quickly, in the heat of the moment. Once all eight rounds are complete and every reward has been claimed, the House with the highest score wins. With its shared timing, hidden intentions, and limited spell supply, Stupefy! turns each round into a tense contest of observation and choice.
