Super Big Boggle

Super Big Boggle is a word-finding game for 1–20 players with a listed play time of 60 minutes. It expands the familiar Boggle format into a six-by-six grid, creating a larger letter layout to explore.

To begin, shake the cubes in their container with the lid on, then settle them into the grid. Remove the lid and start the four-minute timer. Players race to find words and write them down while time is running.

Every word must follow the letters in the grid through adjacent cubes. Moves may be made orthogonally or diagonally, so players can trace words in several directions. The letters used for a word must remain connected through these neighboring positions.

• 36 cubes arranged in a six-by-six grid
• 1 blank cube that acts as a block and must be worked around
• A four-minute timer, rather than the standard three-minute limit
• Words must contain at least 4 letters

When the timer expires, players compare the words they recorded. Scoring is based on the length of each original word, giving longer discoveries greater value while rewarding careful searching through the expanded grid.

With its larger playing area, blocked space, longer minimum word length, and extended round timer, Super Big Boggle offers a distinct variation on the original Boggle rules. The game was released in 2012 and supports anything from a solo search to a group of up to twenty players.
