Swords of Sovereignty: Bouvines 1214 – Worringen 1288 is a two-player battle game covering two major conflicts of the 13th century, with an approximate playing time of 120 minutes.

This is the 11th module in the Au Fil de l’Epée series, also known as By The Edge of the Sword. It presents the 33rd and 34th battles in the series: Bouvines and Worringen.

The first battle is Bouvines, fought on 27 July 1214. It sets Philippe II Auguste, King of France, against Emperor Otton IV of Brunswick. This edition is substantially expanded from the version published in Vae Victis #45 in 2002, with a new map, new counters, and scenario-specific rules.

The second battle is Worringen, fought on 5 June 1288. In this conflict, John, Duke of Brabant, faces Siegfried, Archbishop of Köln. Each battle includes both a historical scenario and a what-if? scenario, offering two different ways to approach each medieval confrontation.
