Talisman (Third Edition): Dungeon of Doom is an expansion for 2–6 players, with an advertised play time of 240 minutes. Released in 1994, it adds two new board sections to the main Talisman game board.

Players can enter the dungeon realm of the Lord of Darkness or explore the mountain realm of the Eagle King. The two sections can be placed alongside the main board, expanding the setting of Talisman (Third Edition) with additional realms to visit.

This expansion brings a substantial collection of new components for games that use the Talisman (Third Edition) base game. Its contents include:

• One dungeon board section and one mountain board section
• Six character playing pieces and six character cards
• Forty dungeon cards and thirty-seven mountain cards
• Three adventure cards and four special item cards
• One rules sheet and one realm dice

The separate dungeon and mountain card sets support the identities of their respective board sections, while the adventure cards and special item cards add further cards to the expansion’s component mix. The included realm dice is another distinctive addition to the box.

As part of the Talisman series of games and expansions published by Games Workshop Ltd., Dungeon of Doom is designed to expand Talisman (Third Edition). It offers a broader board layout and two named realms for players to add to their existing game.
