About this expansion

The Talisman: Dungeon is an expansion for 2–6 players, with an approximately 240-minute play time, that adds a dangerous new region to the quest for the Crown of Command. Released in 1987, it is the third expansion set for Talisman.

The expansion introduces a new Dungeon board that players may move to during their adventure. Its corridors and tunnels hold a dedicated deck of 36 Dungeon Adventure cards, creating a distinct collection of encounters and discoveries within the Dungeon.

Anything could happen below ground. Players may meet terrifying foes such as the Hell Hound or Bronze Dragon, or uncover ancient artifacts including the Crystal of Power. Those who survive the Dungeon may find themselves closer to their goal, but survival is never guaranteed.

  • A new board representing the perilous Dungeon
  • 36 Dungeon Adventure cards
  • 14 new characters, each with individual abilities and characteristics
  • New encounters featuring horrors and ancient artifacts

Alongside the new board and Adventure cards, The Talisman: Dungeon adds 14 characters for players to use, each bringing their own abilities and characteristics to the game. This gives Talisman players new options as they pursue the Crown of Command.

Part of the Talisman series published by Games Workshop Ltd., The Talisman: Dungeon expands the original game with a perilous destination, new cards, new characters, and the promise of greater progress for those bold enough to enter its depths.
