About this board game

Tasty Humans is a tile-laying, pattern-building game for 1–4 players that takes around 60 minutes to play. You take on the role of a fantasy monster with an insatiable appetite, trying to create the most satisfying meal possible.

As monsters toss around the village king, they attract a steady buffet of adventurers. These adventurers make feeble attempts to fight back, but they also provide the food your monster needs. On your turn, select which adventurer to consume and drop their various body parts into your stomach.

Every creature has a personal craving that determines how it prefers its food to settle. This gives each monster its own pattern-building challenge, as you consider where each new body part should go and how it will contribute to your overall satisfaction.

• Tile-laying and pattern building: Place the body parts of consumed adventurers inside your monster’s stomach.
• Individual cravings: Follow your creature’s preferred arrangement as you build its meal.
• Tasty leaders: Acquire leaders who increase satisfaction in different ways.
• Competitive scoring: Complete your stomach and aim to maximize your monster’s overall satisfaction.

The game continues as players select adventurers and develop their increasingly elaborate feasts. The leaders you acquire can further improve satisfaction, adding another consideration to your choices as your stomach fills.

Once a monster has completely filled its stomach, the player who has most effectively maximized that monster’s overall satisfaction wins. With its playful fantasy premise and focused arrangement puzzle, Tasty Humans offers a distinctive challenge for solo players and groups of up to four.
