About this board game

Tattoo Stories is a drawing party game for 4–6 players that plays in about 30 minutes. In this fast-paced creative competition, players invent tattoos, tell stories about their designs, and compete to earn the most points.

Art skills do not matter in Tattoo Stories. Each competition begins when the customer chooses five cards, each featuring a tattoo element that must appear in the designs. The other players become tattoo artists and receive a dry-erase board and marker.

Artists have three minutes to ask the customer questions and create a tattoo incorporating the selected prompts. The quick time limit keeps the action moving while encouraging imaginative ideas, unusual combinations, and entertaining interpretations.

• Choose five tattoo-element cards as the customer.
• Draw a tattoo on a dry-erase board in three minutes.
• Reveal the design and pitch its story to the group.
• Earn element cards by using them creatively.

After every player has drawn twice, the customer awards each individual element card to the artist who used it best or most creatively. The player with the most cards wins, making both the drawing and the storytelling important parts of the competition.

Released in 2019, Tattoo Stories combines quick decisions, creative prompts, and playful presentations in a party game where anyone can compete, regardless of artistic ability.
