About this board game
Techno Witches is a 2005 board game for 2–4 players, with a playing time of approximately 50 minutes. Players use magic books to plan flights across the night sky, navigating courses that grow more demanding as their skills improve.
Flight plans are created one to five stages at a time. Players must chart each part of their route before taking to the sky, creating a magical journey filled with sharp turns, sudden hazards, and unexpected encounters.
The courses may include instructions and obstacles such as:
- Flying at full power
- Making sharp right or gentle left turns
- Stopping before a magic castle
- Backing up when necessary
- Avoiding another witch
Players begin with simple courses while they learn the basics of magical flight. After graduating from flight school, they can move on to more demanding flying adventures, putting their planning to the test across increasingly challenging routes.
Experienced fliers compete for the chance to capture and fly with the black cat. This introduces another distinctive goal for players who have mastered the earlier courses and are ready for a more difficult aerial challenge.
The riskiest adventure in Techno Witches is the chase of the old-fashioned wizard on an antiquated straw broom. From basic training flights to this demanding pursuit, the game builds a progression of magical flying challenges for players to explore.
