About this board game

Temple Code is a deduction game for 1–4 players, with games lasting about 30 minutes. Face rival archaeologists in a race to unlock an ancient temple’s forgotten secrets and reach its invaluable treasure.

At the beginning of the game, each player receives a combination card showing three unique statuettes. Everyone can see the card except the player who must deduce it. Each round, two combination cards are dealt face-up in front of every player, creating new opportunities to gather information.

On your turn, choose a set of cards in front of another player. Take one card for yourself and give the other card to that player. Align the card you keep next to the combination you are trying to guess to reveal clues about matching statuettes.

• Blue circles indicate statuettes appearing on both cards in the same position.
• Orange triangles indicate statuettes appearing on both cards, but in different positions.

Use these positional hints to narrow down the hidden three-statuette combination. The visible cards and the choices made by other players all contribute to the deduction challenge, while exchanging cards makes each turn matter for more than one player.

You may guess the combination card in front of you at any time. Whether your guess is correct or incorrect, you receive a new combination card to solve. The first player to correctly guess two combinations wins.

With its focused clues, shared card choices, and race to complete two successful deductions, Temple Code offers a compact contest of logic and timing for groups of one to four.
