About this board game

Temple Raider is a 2022 board game for 2–4 players, with play time of approximately 45 minutes. Deep in the jungle, the last ancient temple has been discovered—and every player is racing to escape with all their priceless relics.

The route out leads down the temple steps, where dice rolls move your relics toward freedom. Reach the exit with your complete collection before the other players do to claim victory.

Competition is not limited to movement. Temple Raider includes different power cards that can help your escape while giving you ways to sabotage your rivals at every turn. Choosing when to use these cards adds interaction to the race as everyone pushes toward the same goal.

• Race other players to escape the ancient temple.
• Roll dice to move relics down the steps and out.
• Play power cards to help yourself and hinder opponents.
• Watch out for lava and eruptions that can send relics back.

The temple is dangerous as well as competitive. If you step in lava, an eruption can send your relics backward, undoing progress and giving the other raiders a chance to pull ahead. Every advance toward the exit can therefore bring a new risk.
