About this board game

The Banishing is a cooperative game for 3–5 players that plays in about 45 minutes. Players take on the role of guardians working together to force undead creatures back through a dark void.

A breach has opened between worlds, and undead creatures are attempting to enter ours. Your group must complete the ritual of Banishing before the growing threat overwhelms you. The longer the ritual takes, the stronger the undead become.

To oppose this threat, players collect cards from the Void and combine them into melds. These melds allow the guardians to cast unique spells and create effects that help advance their shared goal.

Success depends on cooperation. Players must coordinate their efforts to create the right melds while also responding to attacks from the undead. Protecting one another and healing those who are threatened are essential parts of the struggle.

In The Banishing, every delay gives the undead greater strength. Gather the cards you need, support your fellow guardians, and complete the ritual before the creatures from the Void can overwhelm your group.
