About this board game
The Barbarossa Campaign is a solitaire World War II wargame for one player, presenting the struggle on the Russian Front in scenarios of approximately 35 minutes or a full campaign lasting about 3–4 hours.
You take command of the Axis as the Soviet Union fights to survive. Its novel solitaire system places you in a dynamic historical narrative, sometimes making you history’s master and sometimes its pawn. Each game creates a fresh retelling of the campaign as your decisions and major events shape the course of the conflict.
Direct panzer thrusts eastward as you attempt to collapse the Soviet Union, or offer fanatical resistance as the Red Army pushes relentlessly back. The game explores an array of historical “What if?” possibilities while capturing the ebb and flow of vast battles across the Eastern Front.
