The Boss: 5-6 Player Expansion expands games of The Boss for 2-6 players, with a play time of 40 minutes. Released in 2012, it adds components for larger groups and introduces St. Louis as a new city.

With five players, the game is played as in the original release. At six players, the competition changes: players form three teams of two instead of playing individually, creating a new atmosphere at the table.

The expansion also adds a St. Louis character card and five St. Louis city cards. These new cards bring the city into games of The Boss while complementing the additional player support.

The box includes large cubes in several colors, including white, red, yellow, black, and blue. One cube of each color is intended to replace the score cylinders from the base game, while the white, red, and yellow cubes provide the quantities required for the six-player team game.

• Large cubes: 11 white, 5 red, 5 yellow, 1 black, and 1 blue
• Small cubes: 4 white, 1 yellow, and 1 red
