About this board game

The Dead Eye is a solo adventure card game for one player, with a play time of about 15 minutes. You take the role of a lone thermo-bandit stranded on a hostile backwater planet, where survival depends on reaching the next safe Haven.

Buckle up your Rad Suit, fire up the Rig, and prepare to face dangerous Encounters. Your mission is to find safety before you lose all hope and strength—and perhaps discover a way off the desolate rock.

Cards represent Encounters that can lead to one of two Outcomes: Good or Bad. A Bad Outcome is triggered by a buildup of dangerous Heat, while a Good Outcome comes from building up valuable Juice. Your starting Draw Deck contains six cards with Juice and six cards with Heat.

As you play through the deck, some cards raise your Heat and Juice levels. At other times, those same cards are used as the Encounter itself, creating a compact solo challenge built around difficult circumstances and limited resources. Face the threats, salvage useful Parts, and keep moving toward safe Haven.
