About this board game

The Ghosts of Castle Turnwall is a family game for 2–4 players that takes about 20 minutes to play. Inside a rotating, magnetic castle, players guide their ghosts through walls while searching for the best costumes.

Each player has their own ghost inside the castle. On a turn, a player can perform up to three magical movements, creating opportunities to navigate the castle and pursue valuable costume pieces.

• Move your ghost from space to space.
• Slide pieces beneath the castle floor.
• Rotate the whole playing board.

The castle’s unusual design is central to the experience. Magnets inside the sliders allow the ghosts to pass through the castle’s walls, so a route that seems blocked may change when the floor or board moves.

Players must decide how to use their limited movements most effectively. Moving a ghost, adjusting the sliders, and rotating the castle can all help reveal a better path toward the costume pieces they need.

The goal is simple: be the first player to collect four different costume pieces. The shifting castle and ghostly movement make every turn part of a playful hunt for the best possible costume.
