About this board game

The Initiative is a cooperative board game for 1-4 players, with a play time of about 60 minutes, combining story, strategy, and code-breaking.

Players take on the roles of teenagers in 1994 who discover a mysterious board game called The Key. Their journey unfolds through a campaign of connected missions, with each chapter beginning as players read a page from an interactive comic book.

Every chapter takes around 30-60 minutes to complete and builds on the knowledge and events from earlier chapters. As the campaign progresses, narrative choices, puzzles, and mysteries come together to create an evolving game experience.
