The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – The Steward’s Fear is a 1–2 player Adventure Pack for a 90-minute experience, released in 2013. It follows the events of the Heirs of Númenor expansion and begins the Against the Shadow cycle.

In this scenario, Middle-earth’s heroes investigate a plot against the realm of Gondor. Their search for clues leads away from the main streets of Minas Tirith and into the city’s back alleys, where an underworld of nefarious plots and deadly villains awaits.

The Steward’s Fear adds 60 new cards to The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game. The pack includes a new hero, three copies of each new player card, and a new scenario designed around the unfolding investigation.
