The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – Nightmare Deck: The Redhorn Gate is a 2014 print-on-demand Nightmare Deck for 1–2 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes.

Nightmare Decks let players revisit favorite scenarios through the shadows of Nightmare Mode. This deck reshapes the matching original quest with deadlier enemies, darker locations, and more terrifying surprises, turning familiar territory into a journey filled with new twists and turns.

The Redhorn Gate Nightmare Deck includes twenty new encounter cards to add to the original scenario. It also provides the instructions needed to alter the encounter deck and explains which older cards must be removed from the original setup.
