The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – The Road Darkens is a 2014 Saga Expansion for 1–2 players, with a play time of about 60 minutes. Continue the journey out of Rivendell as you accompany Frodo and his companions through pivotal moments of Middle-earth’s Third Age.

This expansion introduces three new scenarios that place you in a desperate quest where the fate of all Middle-earth hangs in the balance. Avoid the fearsome Nazgûl and face the consequences of your actions as the journey unfolds.

The Road Darkens adds 165 cards to The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game. Its new content includes heroes, player cards, boons, and burdens, giving you fresh ways to experience Frodo Baggins and his companions’ all-important quest.
