The Night Cage: Shrieking Hollow is an expansion for 1–5 players, with a play time of 60 minutes, that adds a new threat and a new space to explore within The Night Cage.

You awake in the dark with nothing but a candle—and an unsettling sense of déjà vu. The ground is unstable, tunnels can crumble into screaming pits, and the sound of those screams seems to be drawing closer.

These pits connect the prisoners to the Hollow, where The Other lies in wait. As the game progresses, this terrifying presence rises from below and attacks the prisoners, destroying every part of the maze it encounters.

• New threat: The Other advances toward the prisoners and lashes out at the maze.
• New space: Pits lead down into the Shrieking Hollow.
• Candlelight matters: The dim glow of prisoners’ candles can temporarily stop The Other’s advance.
• Dangerous proximity: Prisoners who remain too close may be attacked when The Other lurches toward the flickering light it despises.

Brave prisoners can leap into a pit and fall to the bottom of the Hollow, using their candles to hold The Other back for a time. But the light cannot restrain it forever, turning every moment of safety into a temporary reprieve.
