The Quest for El Dorado: Promo Pack is a 2018 card addition for 2–4 players, designed for games lasting about 60 minutes. It adds three new sets of expedition cards to the base game, offering fresh options during your journey.

Set up the base game as usual, then add the three new expedition cards to the 12 card piles beside the market board. Each set contains three copies, giving the market additional ways to influence movement and card play.

• Powerful Paddle: Helps with crossing rivers.
• Binoculars: Choose a card on the market board and copy its effect as if you were playing it. Afterward, remove the Binoculars from the game, while leaving the chosen card on the market board.
• Brute: You cannot use this card to move onto a space with one or two symbols. Ignore any requirements of the target space, including those related to Native, and move onto a space occupied by another playing piece.

These cards introduce distinct effects without changing the standard setup procedure. Powerful Paddle supports river crossings, Binoculars temporarily reproduce a market card’s effect, and Brute provides a way to enter an occupied space while ignoring target-space requirements.
