About this board game
The Red Dragon Inn 3 is a 2–4 player tavern game with a playing time of about 60 minutes, released in 2011. After another day of dungeon delving, adventurers return to town ready to drink, gamble, and roughhouse at the Red Dragon Inn.
Your goal is simple: be the last conscious adventurer with Gold. Keep an eye on your money, because running out means spending the night in the stables. At the same time, avoid getting too beaten up or too drunk; if you black out, your friends carry on partying after looting your body for Gold.
This standalone set introduces four new adventurers, each bringing a distinctive personality and game mechanic to the original experience. It can also be combined with other versions of The Red Dragon Inn for games of up to 12 players.
- Wizgille the Tinkerer: a gnomish artificer whose experimental prototypes can produce impressive results—or blow up in everyone’s faces.
- Brewmaster Phrenk: a troll alchemist who brews both healing potions and drinks capable of knocking adventurers back down.
- Kaylin the Renegade: a pixie enchanter accompanied by Wulfric, a noble wolf who helps his friends, even when Kaylin is less than noble.
- Serena the Pious: an orc raised by paladins who must resist her chaotic instincts while pursuing a righteous path.
With its mix of tavern revelry, dangerous drinks, dwindling Gold, and unpredictable companions, The Red Dragon Inn 3 turns a night of celebration into a battle for survival. Watch your rivals, protect your purse, and stay on your feet until everyone else has dropped out.
