The Sherlock Files: Vol II – Curious Capers

About this board game

The Sherlock Files: Vol II – Curious Capers is a cooperative detective game for 1–8 players, with each investigation taking about 60 minutes. Released in 2020, it challenges modern mastermind detectives to solve three confounding cases by examining clues and deciding what truly matters.

Each case presents a mystery that must be unraveled through careful investigation and discussion. Decipher the available clues, determine which details are relevant, and share your discoveries with your detective partners. The theories you choose to pursue will shape your investigation as you work together toward the truth.

The three cases take you into very different situations:

• Investigate the family, friends, and business partners of a freshly deceased don.
• Uncover how a group of devious jewel thieves—and their loot—vanished into thin air.
• Discover the truth behind a disastrous laboratory fire.

Curious Capers is built around cooperation, observation, and shared reasoning. Discuss what you believe is important, compare theories, and decide which leads deserve your attention as a team.

After solving each case, find out how your conclusions compare to those of the world’s greatest detective. Whether you play alone or with a larger group of up to eight players, The Sherlock Files: Vol II – Curious Capers offers three mysteries to investigate and three opportunities to test your detective skills.
