The Stonebound Saga is a skirmish-style card game for 2 to 6 players, with matches lasting about 60 minutes. Players maneuver adventurers across a large grid-based playmat while managing resources, rolling dice, positioning cards, and planning tactical turns.

Centuries after the ancient city of Lux disappeared into the sky, the force known as Tenebris has covered the seven kingdoms of Telios in darkness. As humanity nears destruction, three adventurers are drawn to the valley where Lux once stood by mysterious stones that seem to call to them.

These speaking stones reach into the souls of the adventurers and grant them power to resist Tenebris. The adventurers soon discover that they are not the only ones summoned, setting the stage for battles shaped by strategy and careful preparation.

Each player begins with a group of adventurers who have traveled to the valley to train for the coming battle. During the game, players draw speaking stone cards from a community resource deck and use them to perform different abilities in battle.
