The Stuff of Legend is a cooperative game for 3–6 players, with an approximately 120-minute play time, in which loyal toys venture into the Dark to rescue a kidnapped boy.

As Allied forces fight across Europe’s war-torn beaches, another battle unfolds in a child’s bedroom in Brooklyn. The nightmarish Boogeyman has taken the Boy to the realm of the Dark, and his playthings must unite for a daring rescue.

Each player takes on the role of one of the Boy’s loyal toys. Every toy has its own unique abilities, giving the group different strengths as it scours the Dark in search of the missing child.

The rescue mission will not be easy. Along the way, the toys must confront the Boy’s bitter, forgotten toys, while the Boogeyman threatens to escape with his captive.

Players must also watch those beside them. During the game, allegiance may change, and at any point one fellow player could be secretly working for the wicked Boogeyman. In The Stuff of Legend, cooperation is essential—but trust may be dangerous.

Released in 2023, the game brings its dramatic conflict between childhood imagination, forgotten toys, and nightmare forces to the tabletop.
