The Treasure of Isla Tortuga is a push-your-luck card game for 2–5 players, with games lasting about 20 minutes. Set on the dangerous waters of the Spanish Main, it sends players exploring coastal waters in search of valuable treasures.

On your turn, draw cards from the main deck and look for useful additions to your ship. Every card has a cost in one of four resources, while also contributing resources to your pool. Revealing more cards can provide the resources needed to acquire better cards, but the risks grow with every draw.

Each card also carries a disaster flag. If you reveal three identical flags, your push-your-luck attempt comes to an end in disaster. An All aboard! card offers another possibility: you can try to board another player’s ship and steal from them instead.

Careful preparation is essential before you collect major treasures. Recruit a tough crew to help protect your gains, expand your ship to fit more cards, and strengthen its defence against boarding attempts.
