Think Str8!

About this board game

Think Str8! is a deduction game for 2–4 players that takes about 60 minutes, challenging you to work out the hidden numbers on your own rack while everyone else can see them.

Each player receives one card in each of six colors. Cards show numbers from 0 to 7, with one card of each color secretly removed from the game. Your rack faces the other players, leaving you to deduce your own numbers from the information visible around the table. In games with two or three players, additional shared racks keep useful information in play.

On each round, the active player rolls three color dice. Players calculate the sum represented by those colors, counting a color twice if it appears twice on the dice. Since nobody can see their own rack, every estimate depends on deduction and the clues revealed by other players’ cards.

• Choose a range: Select a bid strip and place it over a range on your number line.
• Balance risk and reward: Shorter strips cover tighter ranges and are worth more points.
• Adapt when wrong: Discard one colored card face up and replace it with a new card, gaining information while resetting your deductions for that color.

After 8–10 rounds, players guess the exact number on each color of their racks. You may write one, two, or three guesses per color, earning 5, 2, or 1 points respectively for a correct answer. Add these points to your earlier scores, and the player with the most points wins.

With its mix of estimating, hidden information, and clever deductions, Think Str8! rewards players who can turn every visible card and failed guess into a better understanding of what is concealed.
