Thunderstone Advance: Numenera is a deck-building game for 1-5 players, with games lasting about 90 minutes. Set in the world of Monte Cook’s Numenera RPG, it challenges you to build a party of heroes and defeat powerful Thunderstone Bearers.

The ancient evil known as Doom has changed in this new world. Here, it has manifested as an intelligent virus that controls its hosts. Those infected are called Doomladen, and they recognize one another regardless of their hosts’ external forms.

The Doomladen are led by powerful beings carrying strange relics known as the Thunderstones. To save the world, players must face these dangerous forces and overcome the threat they represent.

• Use the Doomladen mechanism to confront unified monster groups.
• Explore the Numenera environment through new Setting cards.

The Doomladen mechanism brings various monster groups together against you, creating a distinctive threat within the game. New Setting cards further develop the Numenera environment and provide the backdrop for your battles.

Thunderstone Advance: Numenera can be played on its own or combined with other Thunderstone sets. Released in 2013, it offers a standalone entry into the Thunderstone Advance series while connecting to a broader collection of deck-building adventures.
