About this expansion

Ticket to Ride: The Emerald City is a fan-made expansion for 2–6 players, with an approximately 60-minute play time. Set in Seattle, Washington, in 1962, it imagines a future where the Steam Era has ended and the monorail is ready to take its place.

Players seek the best routes through the city, competing for a reward and the opportunity to build a template for tomorrow. The expansion is designed for people already familiar with Ticket to Ride’s standard gameplay and mechanics, while introducing new rules to its Pacific Northwest setting.

A standout feature is its flexible format. The map is designed from the ground up to support individual games with up to four players or team games with up to six players, giving groups a choice about how to pursue victory.
